The new diesel sedan to be launched in India in the year 2013 is the Honda Amaze. This sedan is pitted against some of the already established sedans in the Indian market. As the Japanese car manufacturer, Honda  is making its debut in the Indian diesel car market with this sedan “Amaze” they are very excited about the whole venture. Automobile users can expect to get a hold of Honda Amaze by April 2013. The  sedan is expected to be a fun to ride on as it is fitted with a 1.5 L diesel engine, and will able to generate a power of around 81 PS.

As many consumers are shifting their focus to the diesel car segment due to the increase in the price of petrol, many people were waiting for Honda to come up with a diesel sedan, as well. Honda Amaze will also be available in the Indian market in the petrol version as well, and this petrol version sedan will have a 1.2 L engine. So, people have ample choices from now among diesel and petrol variants of Amaze. The consumers who have been waiting for years for the car manufacturer to finally come up with their diesel plant are now being rewarded for their patience with launch of Amaze. As Honda wants to make it big in the diesel car segment, in India, they are coming up with a plant in India itself. In an effort to market launch of Honda Amaze in India in 2013 in a grand style, the company has come up with innovative promotional ideas. Honda is asking consumers to express their views on this diesel sedan, and send it across to them directly. The turbo charged diesel engine of Amaze has been specially designed keeping in mind the Indian conditions. The 91 PS power coupled with the torque generated of around 200 Nm will be a true joy for the car enthusiasts who love to take their cars for a spin. The 5 speed gear box with manual transmission makes sure that you will always enjoy a good drive with this sedan.

The same engine, which is now fitted in the Honda Amaze in India, will be fitted later on in the other Honda cars like Honda City, Jazz, and Brio. The sedan will be a perfect match for the youth of the country who love to go for long distance travels by sedan during the weekends. The year 2013 has just started, and the auto enthusiasts are going to get a delicious treat very soon with Amaze. The price range of  Honda Amaze is 5L to 7.5 L will be a great attraction for consumers in general.

When Jaguar Land Rover PLC, a British premium automaker, was acquired by Tata Motors from Ford Motor Company in June 2008, it was a moment of triumph for the Indian car makers. And now the launching of new Jaguar Land Rover is another moment of brilliance for Tata Motors in India.
The new car model Jaguar Land Rover was unveiled in November this year. The new car is of Sports Utility Vehicle segment and has three car models- the 3.6L TDV8 diesel engine, the 5.0L Supercharged V8 (Petrol) and the 4.4L TDV8 diesel engine. The luxurious SUV has a price tag of Rs.1.72 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
4.4L has 4 valves per cylinder and a maximum power of 313PS @ 4000 rpm with a torque of 700Nm. 4,999cc V8 automobile engine has been fitted in the petrol model of this sturdy SUV that churns out a maximum power of 510 PS with 625 Nm peak torque at 2,500 - 5,500 rpm while the 3.6L diesel engine has power of 271PS @ 4000.

Meanwhile there have been talks of an Indian manufacturing plant for JLR but the talks were ruled ex-Chairman of Tata Group, Ratan Tata. when asked if there is any truth in the talks about JLR plant in India, Ratan Tata said, “India is still making it somewhat difficult for us to offer it. They are being assembled now (in India). Unfortunately, today if we were to manufacture here, it would cost more than the assembled one”. Tatas are the fourth-largest truck manufacturers in the world and second-largest bus manufacturers in terms of volume.
Tata Motors Limited is an Indian manufacturing company. The company has a variety of type of vehicle in its stable including coaches, buses, passenger cars, trucks, vans and military vehicles. Ratan Tata stepped down on December 28 and Cyrus Pallonji Mistry is declared as the new Chairma.

Mahindra Sangyong Rexton is the first offering of the South Korean automobile giant Ssangyong and Mahindra India after Mahindra took over Ssangyong in 2011. This SUV was first launched on 17 October 2012 and since then Mahindra has launched it in 14 more Indian cities.  This highly stylish SUV is currently available in two models RX5 and RX7 priced at Rs.17.67 lakhs and Rs.19.67 lakhs respectively. Mahindra priced the vehicle at quite lower prices than other models in the SUV segment. This SUV presently costs 2 lakh rupees less than other models in the same SUV segment. Mahindra Rexton is an outstanding feast for those fond of rough and stony paths. Ssangyong has already produced two generations of this SUV and India gets to drive the third one.

This Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) contains all the features that makes it king of uneven roads. Rexton comes with very striking features. Specifications:
Rexton’s specifications are as impressive as its features. This SUV will be powered by a giant 2.7 litres direct injected common rail diesel engine with a capacity to generate power of around 164.3 PS and torque of 402Nm. A turbocharged diesel based motor combined with five speed automatic gear box forms its power machine. A 5 speed automatic transmission system also comes along with it. This system will provide Rexton a supper ability to cross the 100kmph mark in 11.6 seconds. All these helps Rexton to deliver a mileage of 9-10km per liter that proves to be most suitable considering the mileage specific Indian consumers.
